This website is owned and operated by smoke & hive ltd. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers food products for sale. By accessing or using the website or our services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
In order to use our website or our services, you must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website or services if doing so is prohibited under any law or regulation applicable to you.
This website and all content including, without limitation, software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, domain names, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music and all intellectual property rights related thereto, are the exclusive property of smoke and hive ltd. Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such intellectual property rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works thereof.
We are a small batch artisan producer and predominantly create products to order. When you put an order through our website, it will not be completed until you receive a confirmation from us of your order. Our confirmation and acceptance of your order, together with your payment, forms our contract with you regarding the food products to be sourced, produced, packaged and ultimately delivered to your door. All contracts will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
We require 5 working days advanced notice for any perishable cured and smoked products to ensure we can produce the highest quality products through the curing, smoking and drying process. We are therefore unable to offer a cancellation service for perishable goods but can offer to deliver to a different UK delivery address, should you no longer require the food products to be delivered to your specified address.
Once an order has been confirmed, we will start making your products and will be unable to offer refunds on any perishable orders or accept any returns.
If your goods are damaged on delivery please contact us with photos of the damaged packaging at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All products will be supported by storage and allergen information.
We aim to deliver high quality food from our production to your door. Some of our food products are marked as perishable, and for these products we use thermally insulated packaging to keep your food fresh and cool. We use a reliable delivery service and together with our packaging solution expect to keep your orders below the minimum storage temperature for up to 24 hours from dispatch.
Unless otherwise agreed we will dispatch your orders on Thursdays for arrival the following day to the delivery address you specify. We require you to be physically present to receive the goods to inspect packaging and store any perishable products directly in the refrigerator. We want you to enjoy our fresh products at their best.
Should you have a specific delivery date in mind, please let us know either through the additional information fields at order placement or contact us with details through email@example.com and we will be happy to discuss any delivery requirements.
We currently offer delivery to mainland UK addresses and can offer a collection / pick-up service from our base in Hertfordshire, if you contact us directly.
We do not offer refunds on subscription services once deliveries have started, however if you have a specific complaint or issue we would be more than happy to discuss how we can resolve this in the best way.
We will deliver to the address you provide on setting up the subscription and we ask you to provide us in advance of any changes to the address using firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will post our products to you through the postal service in sealed and protected packages. These will not be glass jars but will be baed on the best available environmental packaging that is food grade and deemed safe and secure for the transportation of food.
Price and VAT
All our prices are inclusive of VAT and this will be stated on your order confirmation and delivery statement.
